Description It is known that the Realm of Torment is the bottomless pit into which the souls of the damned are condemned. But I cannot imagine how their suffering could be worse than that which we have suffered on Orr. The stink of rock permeates the earth and air, and soaks into your flesh until everything bears the odor of death. The skies are pregnant with dark clouds that linger like oil on water, hiding the rotting dragons that wait for the opportunity to devour you whole. And the endless woken dead, thousands strong, desiring nothing but a meal of our flesh.

I've seen comrades and friends ripped apart, skewered, melted, burned alive, eaten, and succumb to torments that the mind cannot hope to bear. Our supplies are dwindling, our limbs are heavy and broken. We've not seen clear skies or heard the sound of life in weeks. But I've seen the world should we fail; I know the slow decay we will suffer as the dragons consume all that is good in this world. That is why, to whatever end, I will reach Arah and see this through.

To be honest, Guild Wars 2 has lost a lot of its shine for me. The narrative has a lot to work with but rarely makes good use of it. If I weren't writing my own story in the process of playing, I don't think I would be interested anymore. Mechanically, it's still pretty fun, but I find myself without much to do. Yes, there's living world content that gets updated biweekly, but as that has yet to have anything to do with the dragons, it has slowly lost any real importance to me. Essentially, GW2 needs some meaningful, well written content.
