Woodland folk? Only one time I seen one of them. Must've been... years ago now, was out patrolling the fringes with my team. I strolled off one afternoon, stretch my legs and enjoy the forest. First thing I noticed was the eyes, big and bright, watching me through the bushes. And it sees it's seen, and before I can reach my sword, I hear a bow grow taught.

So what I do is, I stand perfectly still and put my hand out. Like I had food or something. Little thing makes its way out the bushes. Never seen anything like it 'fore or since. Horns included, the thing can't come up above my chest. She was trotting around four hooves, deer like, one arm holding a bag. Stolen, I reckon. All the bag had was a flute, and her bow was strung over one shoulder.

And ya know what burns me still? No arrows. Damn critter tricked me. Swear she could see me realize I'd been had. And 'fore I can say anything, she's off into the bushes again. Never seen one again, but they're out there, make no mistakes. And to tell true, I'd leave them to their own.

still trying new things here, and I'm really not sure if I like them. I imagine that, if I can get a good handle on it, I'll ultimately like it, but right now it's more hassle than help. But we'll see.
