Description ...and so she spiralled into the sky, laughing at the joy of being able to fly again.

Here's a picture that's been nearly finished for over a year now. It's different from my normal style, but for the life of me I can't figure out why. It's mostly a pic to practice a strange angle, which is why her boobs are seriously small and you can't see the rest of her hair (she's partway through arcing in FRONT of the camera to shoot up past it and loop back.)

In short, I suck at perspective and backgrounds, but is there anything more specific you can give feedback on? and do you actually like it?

Enjoy!

I admit, you have got the perspective done very VERY well! I've tried to draw perspective/foreshortening but I always fail XD I like this one!

Only slight thing I will point out is that I think the nose is drawn the wrong way around: like _\ rather than /_ - just cause the shine on the eyes is coming from the left, so it seems like the lightsource is also coming from there.
But hey, that's just my personal view - it's not necessarily the RIGHT one

You know, I hadn't even thought of that... maybe it would also affect the way you see her flight path too, so going round the back of the camera rather than across in front of it?

*Will possibly experiment with this* Thank you ^_^

Hmm... it might do, you never know! (Well, actually, you might, but you know what I'm trying to say )

You're welcome!

I think you did a good job with the perspective - it looks liek a really tricky angle to draw from! I don't know if maybe you should be able to see more of her arms... I guess she could have them right against her sides, but I'd have thought you'd have them stretched out a bit if you're flying. Don't quite know what I'm basing that bit of logic on, though... And I rather like the way you've got the impression of rocky terrain in the background without putting much detail in, actually.

Yeah, this is what I mean, it was meant to be a city originally ^_^' but let's go with rocky, I like natural better anyway!

I was wondering whether you'd see more hair though, like some bits escaping at the sides? not sure though.

Ah. Well, I like it anyway. I could tell it was a church-type building in the distance.

Mmm, you might well do... If it was long enough, it might even be flick up behind the back of her head. (I'm not quite sure how to explain that without a diagram - do you get what I mean?)

yeah, I think I DID try it at one point, but it just looked ridiculous... I can always try it again though ^_^
