Close up shot of the rigged mid table base, all the castors spin and the latches open and close. Each table comprises 3 elements, a Base, Legs, and a Table Top. This approach allows me to creat optional extras such as different wheel options, leg types, and table tops (say one with some holes to take some swords!) to expand the division table kit in the future.Related content

Love the latches... ...Are they rigged in Daz Studio?
I've been avoiding this type of latches because I imagine they will require some advanced rigging techniques to make work, and I am lazy(ish).
Also, love the textures.

Yup rigged in Daz. I did try a couple of complex things involving morphs to try and make the multiple parts operate off a single slider, none of them really worked.
So the current rig on this model is a lever (with it's own bone positioned at the pin that holds the lever) parented to the base, then the loop has it's own child bone (positioned where the loop rotates in the lever) parented to the lever. It means you have to manually adjust two sliders to set the position of the latch, but it does allow for a significantly greater degree of control over the model positioning. So all in, it's only one more vertex group, and associated bone over a simply rotating latch. I keep assuming there should be a way to set a master operator control that will manipulate both sliders simultaneously, but I haven't been able to work out a way to do that yet

I do believe there is a way to set up a "master operator" to control complex bone sets with a single slider/dial but have yet to figure it out... ...Daz Studio has classic "you get what you pay for" documentation.
