At Last!!! I finished to paint a drawing I began in 1999!!!
(all was created)Van and Hitomi are looking Illusion Moon (Earth).
Hitomi give him a little Earth geography lesson ^_^
I have painted it with gouach paint, the sky was made with airbrush (gouach paint too) and the stars are made with a tooth brush LOL
Size is 12.5" x 16.5" (32cm x 42cm)

their stories is complicated, because at the half part of the series Hitomi's feelings are manipulated by Folken ....
but at the end, yes she loves Van... but you must watch all the TV episodes, it's very nice and beautiful (great musics by Yoko Kanno)
there is a movie too but it's différent of the TV series (same staff, but made 4 years after the TV version) the story change too... but it's more beautiful... (I prefere the design...more adult....)

Just simply beautiful. It's 2 bad that Hitomi didn't stay with Van @ the end like Kagome staying in Federal Japan with Inuyasha as his wife though. *sad sigh* O well, it's like they say, "It's better to love and lose then to never love at all"

My jaw literally dropped when i read (and saw) that this was hand-painted. I'd be really interested to know more about your techniques (like the toothbrush and star thing) as I really prefer traditional art myself.
