I think I like this one's composition but I'm not completely satisfied with the light... Unfortunately I didn't get any details of its black cap
But it was posing nicely and even singing for me. Well, probably not for me but it was still nice.

Wonderful picture. Such a clear shot and nice capture.
And I know that this little fellows are very hard to catch. We have one around our garden, but I only managed to take one proper shot of it. They are very fast and shy

Oh yes, getting these songbirds is rather difficult. Although some seem to mind me less than others. I've had the biggest trouble with the wrens, I still haven't got a decent photo although I've been trying for about 6 weeks or so

True our blackbirds and magpies and ravens are very co-operative... Our jays.... I made so many shots I can call "The bird who was sitting on this branch 5 seconds ago"

I know that one so well... And when I go on a photo "tour" I spend at least 2 hours outside, take more than 300 pictures and I get less than 5 acceptable photos. But most of the time it's really worth it and besides I'm spending time outside and distract myself from annoying everyday stuff

No problem.

I like that you captured him as he's glancing over his shoulder, and that the angle only allows one floating branch into the shot.

Well, in general you just have to be patient and wait at a nice spot. And while you're waiting for a bird to come you can even re-check you settings
