Crystal Globe Julia
This is a toned-down version of Julia goes walking and the significant colour changes were made in Photoshop, so I posted it in the Digital Mixed Media category.

Thank you again for linkng my work here. I think it fits perfectly, and it gives my photo a whole new dimension. I'm not doing fractals myself (in fact I have no clue how they are made), and I've never thought of linking one to "Downwards" but it really fits great.

I made the connection as soon as I saw your work. Both the colours and the composition reminded me of this fractal.
Fractals are mathematical algorithms and you need a computer programme to work with them. Just as traditional geometry expresses simple forms and shapes, fractal geometry creates highly complex volumes. I don't understand the mathematics at all but I learned how to use UltraFractal to produce fractal images.
