I do not like Ike very much... For me, his personality was boring compared to past Fire Emblem characters. Obviously, that didn't stop me using him in the game, but still, the only other character I like more than Hector is Soren.

Apparently Axe-users just hate me. I've seen some insane Hectors, and crappy Eliwoods. (Never seen a crappy Lyn, though...) But my Hector last playthrough was nowhere near as good as my Lyn. She maxed Strength, Skill and Speed, while I don't think Hector maxed anything. My Eliwood was closer than he was to maxing stuff! It makes me sad...

my Hector in the current playthrough is awesome i believe 11 str and 15 def for lvl 12 lord. and Lyn so far is turning out a lot better than my first, she currently have 12 or 13 str for lvl 12 lord.

In my GOD AWFUL current playthrough where I was fucking stuck on 26x for five months...
Hector is currently a LV14 Great Lord, 25 strength, 27 defense.
Lyn is a LV1 blade Lord, with ten strength.
Your Lyn can totally kick my Lyn's ass !
My best units who aren't Hector and Karel and Pent (because let's be real here, they show up in times of need and are already tier 2; I use Karel anyway but I use Pent ONLY for healing, because he's a distraction if he's holding tomes) are Legault, Heath, and Lucius. He's always got horrible defense, tho kdfhlgfg

i'm currently on ch 19 on Hector mode and i had a hard time recruiting Karel in my previous playthrough so i gave up on that after failing for few times. my Eliwood is turning out somewhat balanced like in my first playthrough.

i was on Jerme's map during ch 25 Eliwood mode in my previous playthrough so i have to open at least 4 doors in less than 10 turns and my units was somewhat under leveled at that point. the only units promoted at that point were Lyn, Raven, Erk, Serra, and i believe Bartre.

I know, my cousin's Hector was, and still is, obscenely overpowered. Mine is pretty good some of the time, but lately, he's been failtastic, while Lyn and Eliwood(What the heck?) are doing better!

I guess that's true at the start, and it can be tough to keep them alive at the start. Arenas are not just helpful for fighting units, though! I abuse them probably a little too much...

I like Lyn, because she is basically a Swordmaster and they are among my fave units. But Hector... if things go your way, point him at the enemy and leave him to butcher them all! Great strength, HP, defence, surprising speed for a guy in armour and all around awesomeness!

I know she had a bow, I didn't use it much. Hector does indeed rock, and he conveniently avoids extra damage from anti-armour weapons in spite of him wearing riding armour.

Not bad at all. Mind you, she needs all the HP she can get, her defence is bad. But she can defend herself at leats, so she easily beats Micaiah. I HATE doing the 'One Survives' mission in Radiant Dawn! Yes, the Black Knight rocks, but there's always one random who decides to be a hero and go after Micaiah isntead of killing himself against the Black Knight. Micaiah's speed sucks and her defence is worse. I gave her the Dragonshield Leonardo comes with, which improved her defence from 2 to 4, AND IT DID NOT INCREASE SINCE THE PROLOGUE.

I get Micaiah to lv20 as fast as possible, but she still risks dying if someone breathes on her. EVERY OTHER LORD beats Micaiah. Micaiah would die in Hector's presence because she couldn't cope with the overload of awesome that Hector emanates. I hate using her and I hate having to take her into the final chapter. I would rather not take Sothe, Micaiah, Sanaki, Kurth, Ena and a heron, but you have to and that sucks.

I don't like them because Sothe and Micaiah can't kill anything, Sanaki's a bit stronger and I don't mind her, but she can't double attack anything; I don't like using the dragons and I prefer not to use the herons. Five, maybe six, spaces wasted; spaces that could be used for other useful units.

I prefer not to have units that are punching bags, but I can blame them if things go wrong, I suppose. Generally, my endgame team is most of the Greil Mercenaries and Haar.
