This picture makes me think of an AU that I considered once: What if it was Frank Castle who died that horrible afternoon in Central Park and it was Maria Castle who survived? A Maria Castle who had been trained by her late husband in the many skills that he felt she needed to protect their family whilst he was on assignment?


Punishment would still come, just in a different form and in a different style (assassin/hunter rather than soldier).

I've been a Punisher fan since Clinton was president, but yes, this female Punisher is a great remix. There actually was a female Punisher in the lead-up to the finale of the early Punisher regualr series. Not only a female Punisher, but a couple of other impostors which Frank takes out in an extreme example of the penalty for copyright infringement. But that female Punisher wasn't quite as hot as this version.
