Last piece of the series mocking famous artists: the portrait of a serene, sophisticated lady in the style of Klimt.

I feel like a piece of shit for recognizing this style as being reminiscent of Elfin Lied, not Klimt. I knew that EF's was a mimicry of his style, but for some reason still didn't think of it. I am a terrible person.
I didn't even like Elfen Lied.

I was like 14 when Elfen Lied came out and I totally hated it (I watched it because there was - and still is - an incredibly unrealistic hype around it) so it was my first encounter with Klimt too - I don't think there is anything wrong with that if you know about it otherwise.

I think I was around... 12 when I first watched it. And it was awesome to me, because naked girls and gore.
Then I rewatched it like, a year later, after sitting back and realizing that I wasn't judging the show properly. And goddamn it was terrible.

Looked at the thumbnail and I thought Klimt.
Am doing something like what you are doing but I am using different artists like
Francis Bacon and Rothko.

Thanks! Yes, Elfen Lied mocked the same painter, Klimt - only they used an other famous painting of his, "The Kiss"
