I like the depth in this one, you have the sharpness of the flower in front and still can see the second flower without it being to far out of focus so you can see the petal shape from the side.

this Dahlias are from the year 2012. Unfortunately, we have not planted any more, because they are very labor intensive.
PS but the neighbor does have very nice

A long time ago my neighbour gave me many small red dahlia tubers which produced many flowers.
I took them out of the ground every autumn and kept them for several years.
Then, one year I forgot and they froze. 
I don't plant annual flowers any more. I have some peonies and a few iris.
The iris are very old and a hard mess of tubers in the ground. Too bad!
My husband has enough work mowing the grass and clipping the bushes.
I have a few flowering bushes such as wiegelia. We get pink and white flowers in the spring.
That's nice.
The neighbour has a big wisteria along the wall between our gardens. It's wonderful.
