If you watch the Stephen King movie the Mist, if you see the painting at the beginning that the guy is doing, it is a painting from The Dark Tower, this reminds me of it!

This is the best visual work on the Tower series I've seen so far, thanks for sharing.
It's exactly like MandaOwl says - it mirrors the novel's atmosphere exactly but leaves a lot to one's imagination, just the same.
I'm just not comfortable with the majority of the artworks because as for me, they're going into way too much detail.
My own ideas of all the settings and characters are rather blurry but I intent to keep it that way, though. Otherwise, a lot of the magic's going down the tube.
