With the announcement of Ultra Sun and Moon I am extremely excited to start making new fanart for potential Alola forms. I think it would be amazing to see an Alolan Gardevoir, and I cam up with this tropical Grass/Fairy-typing. I like to think that Gardevoir in Alola adapted to the laid back and tropical lifestyle, that she completely lost her psychic typing and adopted a new grass typing to go along with her fairy secondary type. Alolan Gardevoir are also half the size of regular Gardevoir.Related content

Isn't this pretty much just a Gardevoir-shaped Bellossom with a different color scheme? If you were going with a sort of dryad idea, then maybe you should make the dress into a skirt(better for forest-frolicking) and give it more leafy accessories. Perhaps move that flower to where the crest used to be? I can imagine that Alolan Gardevoir would likely be more whimsical and carefree since it no longer has that emotional connection. And putting a flower in the crest's place could signify the change from being attuned to emotions to being attuned to nature. I'd love to see something like that. I definitely love the idea here, but I think the execution of the design could use some work. It simply looks too similar to Bellossom. Also, brighter greens would make them look more lively. Fall hues just don't seem to fit well with a tropical setting. I think the only brown on it should be the skin so that it resembles a tree. Most likely a lighter brown to apply to the trees around it. A dryad in particular is supposed to be the spirit of an oak tree, so that shade of brown might work best.
Just some constructive criticism and some random ideas, feel free to ignore them if it pleases you. I still like this one, I just couldn't help but think it looked too similar to Bellossom.

If that is an Alolan Exeggutor(it's a bit too small to see clearly...), then I never said the official ones were the best. I didn't say anything about the official ones at all. I wasn't trying to hold your creation up to some standard. It was exactly what I said: constructive criticism and design ideas. I even said to ignore them if you wanted to. I said more than once that I still liked the one you made. But it SEEMS(correct me if I'm wrong) like you're implying that I offended you somehow.

I'm not bashing Alolan Exeggutor because it is long past when they first revealed it. The heated hatred for it that many used to showcase has died down and now we just accept that it isn't going away anytime soon. It's been established as canon, it is a thing now and we are helpless to stop it. We had our time to whine and complain and we did just that. But it's not even worth the trouble of acknowledging if we dislike it so much. At least, that's what I think anyway. 
But yes, it is indeed very stupid. Though there are other things from long ago in the series just as dumb. Like naming a seal pokemon Seel. If that doesn't sound dumb, trying thinking about it without nostalgia goggles. You will realize how uncreative the name is as well as how dumb the pokemon itself looks. What is the point of it having it's tongue sticking out? Nothing about its design or pokedex entries or anything shows a decent reason.
