Okay... so! Finally finished!!

But... in my personal opinion it stinks. The background turned out.... yucky. Its a mix of prismacolor markers and pencils, and the rocks are obviously the pencil. It pulled off the affect of an old fashioned painted background, but...

Well, the fun part of it was the \'beast\'. When Demona and Macbeth finally decided to work out, I had to figure out a way to fit them into the picture. I had actually sketched them seperately. That created the rocky background. But then the bad guys would not work out at all. I had considered Quarrymen, or maybe a new hunter. I had even considered other villans completely but they never seemed to fit. So I considered the idea of just leaving Demona and Mabeth as they were, as though they were going IN to battle, but... it felt... empty.

Then! Lo and behold, I watched Ice Age 3 for the first time and voila! (I know that\'s not the right spelling, but I DON\'T CARE!! ) Inspiration!

So! It could play out a little like this;

It was a peaceful evening. They\'d spent the day tending the garden, weeding, planting and watering. As evening fell, Demona had gone in to change, and in more ways than one. Macbeth had put the supplies away and waited for her to return. It was strange that their tenuous relationship had turned so... friendly, but it had and he was glad for it. He still remembered the days of good terms, friendship even, and though he didn\'t know when the friendship had rekindled itself he wasn\'t about to complain.

Demona returned wearing a rather striking warrior\'s outfit and carried a tray of tea and buiscits, a good late evening snack. Her blood red hair swayed in the evening breeze and the azure flesh glistened dangerously in the moonlight. Just a glance at her reminded him of the power she held, of the razar sharp talons which could rip you assunder and the fangs that were as sharp as her tongue and her wit.

He smiled. Though alien, she was disastrously beautiful. A very odd combination. Disaster. Beauty. But then that was Demona.

She sat the tray on a small table and started to pour the tea when she paused. She glanced at Macbeth but he didn\'t seem to have felt the tremor. She shrugged it off and poured the tea. She felt it again, but this time it was stronger and even Macbeth felt it.

\"What is that?\" he wondered, his roguish brogue snapping in annoyance. \"It couldn\'t be an earthquake? Here?\"

Three more small tremors, but they weren\'t like earthquake tremors at all. They were more like . . .

\"Footsteps,\" Demona hissed and reached for a duffle bag behind her. She never weant anywhere without her weapons.

\"What could possibly be large enough to create a tremor that significant?\" Macbeth demanded, doubful. \"There be no dragons about.\"

Something huge and white, red eyed and angry burst out of the trees, startling them. It stared at them, as surprised to see them as they were to see it. Its jaws snapped menacingly and then it roared.

\"I don\'t think that\'s a dragon!\" Demona snarled, thrusting a broad sword into her friends hands.

\"Its impossible! These beasts are extinct!\"

\"Tell that to him!\" Demona roared, and rushed in to fight. Macbeth followed, though somewhat hesitantly.

\"How do you fight a dinosaur?\" he yelled. \"And how did it get here? Did your time dancer drag it here on one of his dances?\"

\"How should I know? Just kill it already!!\"

So... there we go. A funky, unlikely little story with the pic.

I really am sorry its so late. My goal was to get it done by or BEFORE Halloween but I didn\'t make it. I\'ve been so stressed with my money situation that I\'ve almost had no desire to doodle anything. I\'m just too worried. Besids that, my sister got married the beginning of last month, work has been... slow, but at the same time crazy. There\'s been other things too but... ah well.

Hopefully, you\'ll enjoy it! And if there\'s anything you want me to adjsut or improve PLEASE tell me. I was thinking of outlining them so they look more like actual cartoon figures, but.... I wanted to try \'em without the lines. Let me know if it worked.
