Well, it is certainly been a very, VERY, long time since I submitted anything on here. But, I was lucky enough to have a whole two week off from school and work to finally practice a little more of my photoshop stuff. Which, by the way, any one know any good tutorials on coloring and/or shading? I've seen alot of awesome art and I feel like I'm falling behind.

Anyways, to the topic on this handsome, ugly beast, this is suppose to be the final draft of the Abysmal creature, the Barrok. I also promised a biography of his species, so, here I go.

The Barrok is one of the oldest of the Abysmal species, its roots originating back eons before civilization was built. Appearing similar to a large theropod, the barrack is equipped with an assortment of powerful weapons; large bashing horns, a powerful tail, and crushing jaws full of teeth, lengthening from 2-5 feet long. However, it doesn’t possess any energy based attacks, using only its brute strength and merciless savagery. The hulking reptile can grow from an infant size of 5 feet long to nearly 30 feet. In behavior, the Barrok is a very simple minded beast, but is very violent towards anything, even its own kind. And despite their ferocious attitude, they are very clumsy beasts and have very poor vision, relying primarily on smell to navigate and hunt. Their hide is thick and rough, and 30 percent of their body is protected by spikes and hard layers of born. However, they have tender throats and their chests are extremely sensitive.

Barroks have been responsible for dozens of property damages, decimated live stock, human casualties, and are responsible for more that haven’t been able to make a claim. They often hunt alone, but there have been reports and sightings of Barroks hunting in groups of three or four, usually around mating season. There have even been rarer sightings of other abysmal creatures riding them.
