I don't know what your take on shonen-ai is, but the myth behind Aquarius is the story of Zues' cupbearer, Ganymede. Zues stole Ganymede away because he thought the boy was beautiful and wanted to keep him. This could be a prime character to add the shonen-ai element to the overall story.

Actually, I thought about using a different myth for Aquarius, the one involving Prometheus. He stole the fire from the gods and gave it to humanity, which epitomises the destiny and the meaning of Aquarius. He saw the potential in humans, and did not agree with the way the gods looked down on them. That noble impulse is the brightest face of the sign.

I got excited over the Pisces piece and forgot to comment on this earlier.
There are some interesting design elements on this one. He looks like hes physically strong enough to not need much armor or weapons. The purple and brown colors look really nice together. I think the part that stands out the most is his hair, and how its kinda like the water he's pouring down. Like ocean waves. And his head gear is very unique. Looks like a fashion accessory, but with some sort of purpose, instead of being there to look good.

Hehe I cheated and looked off of paintings of Greek/Roman gods for the pose. The old masters knew what they were doing when they made those.
