Those colours... just perfect for them, and yes I love that light and how they're going towards it!

Really?! Thanks! I try to keep red in the wardrobe since it's Feanor's color.
I think if it was in their hand they would chose the light in general and not the darkness their father draw them to.

I agree! I think that most (all?) of the sons would have chosen the light too, if not for their father. That makes this picture so poignant - one of those "happy times before the Doom" Β pics, and of course it's saddest for them because the Ambarussa were the youngest, and one was the first son to die (tho to be honest I can never decide which version I like more - where one dies in the ships, or where they both die at the Havens).

I agree fully.
(In the modern rp I made a mix of the versions having Amrod left behind but Amras after fighting with his dad saving him but not telling him their father would let him die and in the end they die side by side)

I like that modern rp combi of the two versions - it preserves the horror of Feanor being willing to let his son burn to death, and also allows the twins to die together, which I think is the most fitting thing! OK, I am going to headcanon this version!Β

The color is awesome.Β  And I love the slight transparency in the figures.Β  Like they are not completely on our plane like man would be.

For some reason I always imagined them with short hair. But I really dig the idea of them being dressed in red. Everyone seems to dress them in green for some reason. And you have captured the mamma's favorite, cheerful twins feel very well. (Well we don't actually know if they were cheerful. Tolkien didn't comment much on their mood. But I hear that in a version of Legenderium, Amras spoke out against Feanor, so how stuck up could they be?)

In modern version I have them with short hair but in the Tolkien films we always see the elves long haired, so I always keep that (with only exception Maedhros after being caught). Yea usually people dress redheads with green (and there is actually a reason, as a natural ginger I can tell cold colors work better for contrast). But Feanor's color was red. So I have them all wearing at leadt partly red or redish-warm wolors usually.
(This is clearly before the burn of the ships. Because after that, no smile fits. After all, if I had in mind the version ofΒ Legenderium, Amrod would not be by his brother's side unless he was a ghost.)
