So why didn't Liara tell Ashley or really any other member of the old Squad that she was trying to save Shepard? They all knew what was at stake and that they needed to take a chance on the Illusive Man. Hell I would have been happy if they had just stayed in contact threw Liara as each of them went on their own mission to prepare the galaxy for the Reaper invasion.

Why everyone thinks Thane is sexy is a mystery to me. Just as why everyone thinks it's character is good, and not like a bad "priest-assassin-killbill-terminator" clichΓ©...

Thane isn't even a character. He's just food for angst-monkeys who only play for the romance subplots. He's a missed opportunity. The writers had a chance to create a fascinating, nuanced character, but instead they just made him a remorseful assassin. Like we haven't seen that a million billion times already. His wife died? Been there. Estranged son? Done that. He's dying? How many times has this been done? All he is is a bunch of hoary old clichΓ©s blended and wrapped in one package, and marketed toward the people who don't even play the games for the story. Bioware, you fail.

Actually "Super-sexy assassin" pretty much sums up the reason behind Thane. Bioware wanted to make someone for femshep romance. They decided to go with an assassin with a suave accent and open mantle. Basicaly, his sole purpose is to whore himself out to the female audiance.

The only character in ME2 that doesn't have much angst is Jacob.
Please tell me you're a huge Jacob fan. Cause I swear to god if you say no you love Garrus the most I'm gonna smack you because he is one of the major angst monsters.

I like the variety in characters. Of course having half of the characters with a feature can grow old.
Also, no, I'm not a Jacob fan. I like Kelly, she is never brooding and Miranda as she is only raging and bitching, which does not qualify as angst.

I firmly believe that's why her butt is there taking up half the screen when she is upset about something. It's so you don't have to pay attention to her. The dialogue wheel has all the options to say in response even though you have no flipping idea what she is talking about.
