This is one of my all-time favorite images, including art history and everything. I keep looking at it everythime it shows up randomly in my favorites. I like that it's delicate and eerie without being pretentious, so it's serious and lightweight at the same time. It really has that atmosphere that's missing nowadays. I'm not a big fan of prints, but this is something i would actually buy.

Youve got such a great content there. I like the mystery and peculiarity of it. One major flaw which effects the overall essence- the artist comment is a real anti-climax. Sorry. I had to say it.

I guess it's none of my buisness. I was refering to the artists comment under your peice.I think I was hoping for something like a strange poem on cats or a snippet of vague oddness. Perhaps even nothing at all. I have a bit of an interest in cats- black ones that is. The fact that a black cat can read in front of an elderly woman is one thing, but for it to read 9in an accent is wonderful. It was tour comment about your overall skill as an artist that took the glory away from the mad black cat. I wrote something the other day and later read the comment beneath it. The comment was originally the introductory paragraph for my submitted peice. I first took it out of the intro and put it in the comments section beneath. Then I edited my peice once more and completed deleted it from the comments section. It gave it all away to have it there. Now when I read it it is more vague than before. This vagueness in art and writing, I beleive should be enough to keep the mystery so as that it is not predictable and planned. It should be realistic enough so it seems that weirdo cat is the one who painted the thing. In this case, and by exemption, I would appreciate the cats comment. Otherwise any artists comment that gives away their process of production is like a magician who gives away his secrets.

I love it. It's sort of dark and creepy, but the concept is cute. I wish a kitty cat would read to me in a funny accent.
