I don't have to much practice with painting, well I had when I was a kid but whooo boy, it wasn't pretty, personally I feel better with simple pencil and piece of paper but maybe some day

Well keep fingers crossed then, I guess I will still have some digital artwork before anything. funny thing is when doing big projects on my laptop, I always find traditional doodling as sort of very personal entertainment, like You know, not drawing anything planned, just to see what I come up with on the go, and in general just relaxing

totally agree, I just sketch when I'm too tired for laptop (lately as you have seen I put togheter the best of them in my sketch dumps). in any case just for being rethorical..if you haven't a cintiQ I supppose that traditional (pencil and paper) is still the basic for learning fast to draw

Yup, it certainly is, I'm a bit said Ive never had more resources and patience to learn on other drawing tools though, but yeah it's good to have at least some expirence with traditional art, it helped a lot although when first started drawing digitally, man I tell You, it was frustrating as all hell - still is at times xD
