This whole series was made for an university project. My biggest handicap was the teacher, who absolutely loathed anything his mind labeled as "manga". Maybe that´s why he looked at my first sketches as if staring at poo, finishing with a terrific, colorful and so-constructive-criticizing of my work in front of all the class.
F***ing embarrassing.

So I thought to myself: THIS IS WAR

I spent the next 2 weeks drawing in my kitchen, not going out a single day. Geez, I didn´t even know which day or time it was, I stayed on PJs all day, I ate dinner at 2AM... etc.

Finally, the presentation date arrived.
I think that even behind my nervousness he caught my smug victory stare when his skilled mouth remained shut.

Yes, you chose the wrong pupil.

I guess he continues harassing people, but anyway, he helped me showing the best (and worst) of me. So thank you, Mr. Araujo.
