What's up my watchers? This is your resident EnigmaticThief, coming to you with some heartwarming background pony goodness! (Although, if only background ponies are in the foreground, does a foreground exist..?)

After completing my last piece with Pokemon's Trainer Red, I noted that when I try to do simplistic backgrounds I cannot avoid the smattering of stroke lines that naturally come with my medium, and could only try and compensate by making the lines somewhat even. To try and counter that, I thought up a piece with a complex set of multiple figures and a full background to test and see if that would work better. In the past I avoided doing backgrounds as I lacked confidence in keeping things consistent and coherent in a "3D" space. Even so, I think things turned out rather well here. For subjects I chose My Little Pony's Flower Trio: Roseluck, Lily, and Daisy. I wanted to show them "in their element," rather than doing their fainting schtick, so here they are actually doing some gardening. Going in I knew that a key to making the piece good would be to make sure I could find/mix distinct values of pink, red, and green in order to keep the figures and background elements separate. While there are some issues of symmetry on the large arched window and the trellis, other than that I'm quite proud of this piece.
