Description Style practice, eh. Sorry to spam but I go away for days and come back with a tonne of stuff that I feel will never see the light of day if I never submit them.

I was watching the Disney animated "Hercules" and got inspired by the smokey darkness of you guessed it.. Hades I liked him :'D

She's a kind of witch queen I suppose, performing some ritual. Tried colouring her the way does 'coz I like it. Not quite the way I wanted it, but as I said, tried!

Cool! The smokey darkness is great I've never seen Hercules, I was just thinking the other day how I would if it were on, I like movies like that which are fun and not all about dirty jokes n stuff

I like the face rendering, but I feel like the smoke is too...solid. How did you make the smoke?

Hades is awesome. The villains more often than not make up for bad movies -- not saying that Hercules is bad (it's one of my favorite musicals), but bad movies do happen.

Yeah! The cartoon version, you are more readily reminded that he was still upset for the betrayal that sent him to do the dirty work the other Greek gods didn't want to do. (or at least how I understood it) He was the villain, but more so just the "antagonist" doing what he had because he didn't enjoy what he had to do P:

Hercules has a lot of very nice patterns to be inspired by. Very nice art style, especially for the clouds in that movie.

This is good, everything matches, the line-art, expression, lighting and amoke. It's really well done, especially the colouring. It's dark but you've given it nice contrast with the light source. Nice work!

Yes, like on the vases and sometimes on the pillars. But you know what I love?...The Titans! I love, love, love them . And that beautiful Hydra monster at the beginning, I like Pegasus's expressions and mane!

True that, cute isn't mine, but I mix it up with a little bit or the 'dark' or 'crazy' element sometimes.

Yes, they were! I love them so much, especially the Ice Beast . Did you know, that the Hydra that Hercules fought, took five months to animate.

I thought the Wind monster was interesting All billowy and black.
Wooooooow! You know, they did a CG version of it now to go over top? :/ They must have taken all the hard work out of the original animators, I'll tell you that.. Amazing though, the movie is quite old so everything just HAD to be done by hand, ahh! The guy who storyboarded that scene must have been voted Most Hated during those 5 months XDD
My favourite part was when Pain and Panic were grovelling on the ground "We're worms! We're woooorms!"

I really liked the Double Headed Golem, I go ga-ga over anything with more than one head .

Well, it would not have looked as effective and it would've been very difficult to draw.
