In my opinion... they could have done one more season. To have a better end of all the storylines. It seemed kind of... sudden to me now.
It was beautiful...and I cried like a little girl who's favourite doll was taken from, but I think they could have done one more season *nods*.
Also... I had my coming summer all planned out. I was going to France, to Camelot!
And I wanted to do that while they were shooting episodes. Then they announced the end.
Now... the castle will be empty 
It will not be the same.

I want to go to Pierrefonds in spring. It's not that far away from where I live, about 6 hours by car. Actually, I wanted to go when they were not shooting, because I guess you can wander the castle more freely that way. I guess it'll always be Camelot to me now and I'm sure it's still worth visiting after the series has ended.
Anyway, I agree about the ending feeling rushed. A lot of season 5 felt "wasted" to me, I was really shaking my head about some of the episodes.

That castle will always be Camelot to me too... also because it's much easier to remember (or pronounce) for a person that doesn't speak much French

I may still go. It's only a 5 hour drive for me and I love driving

Yeah, for one I missed the typical Arthur/Merlin habbits.
There were a few, but not as many as we were used to. It was all drama and hardly any fun.
Perhaps the whole season 5 was rushed to make it all fit in an acceptable way.
But I'll stay with my opinion. One more season could have made it perfect *nods*.
Eventhough ending stuff is never fun... you can always chose to end it properly.
However, Merlin will always be one of my favourite tv-shows.

Pierrefonds is about 6 hours from where I live. I'll probably go some time in spring, but I'll book a night or two at a hotel. Can't wait to see it to be honest!
