~~ This series of paintings represents my own war with still-life~~

~Probably I become hooked on this as I started another still life picture! But now I changed my challenge for a lot of fun by showing in the boots two brawling ferrets. When I was creating this work I had so many different feelings because I smiled and almost cried. This picture remained me of my ferret Yoko which I had to leave in Poland when I escaped to Australia. Despite these mixed feelings I enjoyed creating this work. Soon I will frame this work and hang in my room to remind me that creating still life can also be fun.

~Not without reason I called my works WAR-HIDE-FIND.
Although the works depict different styles and does not look like
a series there are really a series which are called TREASURE.

WAR – first picture, beginning of my hard journey with boots [link]

HIDE – second picture where I can’t still find any of pleasure in work [link]

FIND – Finally in the last picture I find way to have fun with drawing/painting boots
