I REALLY like this piece! The blood effect looks spectacular, I love how you did the shading, and the lines are not as defined as some do them. I think it gives the piece a beautiful look and adds personality! I am new to Deviantart, but I can still recognize amazing talent like yours! I am also very curious to know what drawing program did you use? I draw with a pretty crappy one and am looking for a high-quality program so I can produce art as beautiful as this! I also like it because the vital facial features like eyes, mouth, etc. are were they would be. its hard to explain but some people when there doing the half face thing, put one sides mouth in a different spot than the other side. OuO Love! <3 keep up the WONDERFUL work! IM SOOO OBSESSED WITH THE STYLE!!!! lol

Wow ;v; I have to say this sure stuck a cord with me. In all my years of being deep in the abyss of the warriors fandom, I have never seem a piece quite like this. It is nice to see some Snowfur/Thistleclaw art once and awhile.
I guess I can start by saying holy wow you have improved! You should definitely be proud of yourself. the detail in the blood is what caught my eye at first, as it should, and I think the small detail of simply changing the lineart color really impacted the way it was viewed. Your shading isn't crazy everywhere, which is good because other people can go overboard sometimes when trying make something look easy on the eyes.
The expressions fit both characters very well; as I am sure this could possibly be the way Snowfur was feeling after she went to Starclan and saw Thistleclaw's true colors. Thisleclaw's expression seems cold and non-regretful, as he was.
Overall this is lovely work!

This is amazing! When I saw the old picture I screamed (on the inside) because there was so much amazing improvement. The anatomy is perfect, and the grass looks so real and so soft. The only two things I would suggest adding are lines of texture on her fur to make it just a bit more realistic. The other thing is the shading. This is beautiful now, but it would be so much more realistic (sorry I keep saying realistic I have no vocabulary) if you just added a little shading around her face and chin, and some on the grass. The shading you do have, though looks so excellent, and this art really displays huge time and effort. Good job!

Daaannnggg! That improvement nearly made me fall off my chair! Amazing work and improvement! I especially love Thistleclaw's design here. I felt so bad for Thistle, he wasn't really that evil in my eyes. He was just ambitious, and after Bluefur took away his only son that was all he had left. I personally think Ashfur was more deserving to go to the Dark Forest then Thistleclaw.

Dude, i wrote you a whole critique about how awesome this was but then my computer glitched out and it got erased and im too lazy to do this again
ill just say this:
This drawing shows off how much artistic talent and skills you have
The idea of the two cats staring into their reflections is creative and really effective.
The way you have drawn this shows off your ability to effectively blend colours to make the drawing stand out
Little tip is that maybe the water could have a few more ripples and that the reflections could have a bit more of a blue or red tinge to them. Also a little bit of snowfur's colour is sticking out of her lineart (edit: my bad, it's not xmx was looking at it wrong)
BUT overall terrific job! every drawing you upload is beautiful c: keep up the amazing work
