Wow still can't believe I actually DID a mawshot of a dragon from scratch.. Much less a new character that I've only just barely started drawing. Oh and I would put drool in there, except that I dont know how to do saliva on digital pictures yet (would very much appreciate any tutorials or tips on this)Aris & art © me

could you maybe post somewhere a tutorial on using Gimp? I have it and would like to do some art with it and not just minor shadow detail in photo manip's.

I have Gimp and I was wondering if you could post a tutorial somewhere on how to use it for drawing things like dragons. right now, I just use it for minor photo manipulations such as deepening shadows, adding text, or blurring object outlines.
I understand being fuzzy minded when you just wake up very much

lol.. I could try drawing a dragon tutorial on paper and then going over it in Gimp... that's what I do with my drawings anyway. I draw them on paper and either take a photo with my camera or scan them into the computer. I then use gimp to do the lines and colouring, etc.

ok. I have tried the same thing on some other programs. I'll try that in Gimp. I need to read up on how it works though.

I can give you some tips and some tutorials but I'll have to get them to you tomorrow as I dont have time now.
