It's been a while since I posted any Pokemon art...This is not really an original idea - I referenced a card from Magic: The Gathering TCG for the colours and concept. (Just in case you are curious, the card is Shadow of Doubt by Greg Staples.)
Just a short bit about the concept: Darkrai is supposed to be the incarnation of nightmares (correct me if I'm wrong), so this pic depicts it sending out (or being formed from) nightmares. So I skipped its lower-half 'skirt' to show the swirl of nightmares.
Anyways, Darkrai is one of my favourite new Legendary Pokemon (other than Sheimi, Giratina and Fione). It's looks pretty neat for a Dark type, although by its nightmarish design, I swear it should be a Ghost type as well - but that would make it way too strong
. Seriously though, isn't there a Legendary overkill in DP? I have a feeling Nintendo creates more Legendaries just to continue making movies - after all, they've already stuffed Dialga, Palkia AND Darkrai in the next one...Oh yeah, this pic is wallpaper-sized (really, it's a coincidence

I remember how I decorated this picture with snowflakes for christmas... but don't worry I didn't uploaded it anywhere because it really looks dumb and I made it just for fun xD I really love the atmosphere of the picture. It is in a dark street and then the shadows become alive and you see the figure of a darkrai..
with the legendaries: I don't mind if there are many movies with legendaries as long they are cool xD .. and make me cry... I cried at the scene with the sunset and the memories of darkrai during the movie... Then Darkrai appeared as a shadow I couldn't stop thinking "oh my gosh so cool!! oh my gosh so cool!! *__*"

Just his back-story and his appearance is what attracts me to him; even the girl in Black2/White2 that was killed after being in Darkrai's nightmares was something that shows he's one of the truly evil Pokemon.
