Not sure, since most of them are pretty directly based on things. Creeper and Enderman are a bit more abstract, compared to zombie and skeleton.

It's possible to grow creepers

Yup. They pick up random blocks and move them around. If you look at them they get mad and start attacking you, but wearing a pumpkin on your head stops this.
It's weird :I

I think Endermen are secretly in love with pumpkins, and when they meet people with pumpkin heads they are too intimidated to approach them, but the sounds they make when approached are their confessions of love.
