Absolutely charming! The drawing reminds me of the old children's book I had but which I gave to my cousin. There were five horses, drawn a bit like these wonderful fellows of yours. But back to the point. I really adore the the warming feeling here, how the sun shines so beautifully, sharing those lovely red-yellow-orange shades around. It's like spring coming, making the frost vanish and waking those who are asleep. I especially adore the warmth on the back, you've done it so well and realistic. And I just can't get enough of these horses of yours. They just are so unique and lovely!

It's hard to write with an ice cream in the other hand! x3

It's a Finnish book but anyway it's Viisi pientΓ€ hevosta written by Kirsti Manninen. But if I remember I could take you some photos of the book when I visit there next time. I tried to browse the book from the net but sadly didn't find any pictures.

Right. Adjusting the Curves is the best way to go about that, but they are also the hardest part of Photoshop to master.
