So this is my next project a 1/35 Ah-6j little bird. i have been pretty excited/not looking forward to working on this thing. i haven't built a helicopter in years and years and is really outside my comfort zone. i was able to find this one at a model con for $20 and this kit can be a little hard to find. i was really happy to find it hopefully it will be a nice addition to my collection when done.

anyways this model is produced by Dragon and was released in 1995. the box is really big (as big as my Stryker box, which contained 600+ parts) but there really isn't much to the kit. i was kinda disappointed to get such a big model box and open it up to find very few parts but whatever. i have stated building the kit and it has many many issues....injection and sink marks everywhere,a good amount of flash, a set of instructions wrote by a squirrel on meth, NO guiding pins for gluing, really thin weird plastic and some of the worst fitting parts i have ever experienced on a model. there was a point starting out that i seriously concerted just bashing the whole kit for parts but in the end i like a challenge and am a masochistic soooooo i am gonna try to finish it. there is still a 50/50 chance ill break out the hammer and scrap the project for some cool parts, only time will tell and ill have a WIP up at some point.

if i do finish this one ill make a simple base for it and use a nice 1/35 verlinden figurine. not sure on paint for this chopper ether but i am leaning towards a dark gray like the box instructs.
