SO YEAH. Two days ago, I was mindlessly minding my own business, and then Livejournal was like BY THE WAY, *souls-poison 's BIRTHDAY IS IN 2 DAYS 8D. And I was like 8||||||||||||||||||||||. And OF COURSE this week has been the most WORKY NOT-ARTY WEEK EVER...... so this is rushed and I'm sleep deprived and DAMMIT I NOW LIVE IN CHICAGO TO MAKE THIS ON TIME LALALALALA.
JASON DERULO MADE THIS HAPPEN WITH ME. I LISTENED TO HIS AMAZING NEW SONG ON REPEAT FOR LIKE THE ENTIRE 10-15 HOURS I WAS DOING THIS. [link] DAAAAAAY-OOOOO.
And I threw Snow and Switchie in there because.... idk why not <___<. Switchie's looking at a GLOW CUBE. You get them in your alcoholic drinks at Disney, and when I went with Snow a few months ago, my face looked a lot like hers >__>.
And if you just GLANCE at the background and not concentrate on it, its not obvious I did it in like 2 hours! 8D

Oooh prettiness! Look at all the COLOURS. This is SO colourful and lovely and bright and happy and par-tay atmosphereish it's GREAT. I love the glowy lighting effects from the torches. >w<

It's weird, the darker bits I actually didn't even detail! That's just the flat color layer peeking out! The borders of the lighter fur gives it that effect for some reason... but I won't tell it that <__<

WHAAAAAAAT? I saw the thumbnail and went "Oooh Buku drew some more and it's colorful!" and then I clicked on it and was like WAIT A MINUTE
I LOVE the colors, you use such nice saturated complimentary colors and yet it's still soothing to look at. I want to watch more sunsets with you while eating ice cream <___<. And Itty is the star of this picture and she looks FANTASTIC. Her anatomy is epic and you're getting better with your fur with each drawing I swear. Her mane looks SO soft and her fur is flowy in all the right directions and the lighting YAY. And ALL THOSE WHISKERS.
Switchie is in the perfect pose. >__> DO YOU STILL HAVE YOURS? We'll have a rave cube party in October. And I love how Snow's flowers are the same colors as her collar yessss. If you guys want to do this scene for real, we'll take a trip over to the Polynesian resort for a sunset. They have hammocks and torches and rave cubes and everything... only difference is that the castle will be on the water. >__>
