Description Spring has come and the birds are chirping away, so I fancied doing a drawing of one of my favourite named-birds - the Wren. I've also not drawn any animals in forever so this was a nice change of pace.

Thanks! I'm still getting the hang of drawing digitally but I was going for something at least resembling hand-drawn pencil.

When I look at it initially I think of it being drawn with pen. Only when I zoom in closer do I see similarities to pencils. It's hard to make a digital drawing look traditional. All of mine are digitally done but I do my best to try and make it appear that it's not XD It usually takes me a few color palettes to figure out which one looks the least digital -thus why you'll see me post multiple colored options of my art when I can't decide-.

Yeah, it does look kinda like pen from a distance. It's much harder to re-create the tonal gradations of pencil digitally (at least I find) but this is a decent middle-ground. I checked out your gallery too - you have a distinct 'wavy' style with those landscapes of yours - some very atmospheric stuff!

Thank you for taking a look and leaving the comments! I appreciate it. I'm trying to add in some variation of my styles but I do have a tendency to lean towards wavy >.< I feel like variety in a gallery makes things more interesting. I've enjoyed going through your works. Black and white, sketches, tend to be my favorite form of art. I originally learned how to draw via tattoos.
