I'm curious how you do digital art?
Do you hand draw it and then scan it and edit it on your computer? And what program do you use? I think I'd like to try it. Itd be nice to switch up from my regular pencil and pen.

While the pose itself isn't too original or unique to see something similar somewhere else I don't think it's possible that you've seen the same torso/head before - unless it's been something someone "borrowed" from my painting OR you've stumbled upon a close-up in my scraps: [link]
It's been a while since I painted this one, but if I don't have any sketches or wip's I certainly have original, multilayer files with sketches visible underneath details. The pose itself has been set by myself in Poser.

Normally I don't comment since I have nothing useful to offer, but that is badass, love it!

I'm sorry for being so late
Hmmm... I'm unsure if I can repeat all of the process in my head, as this is a picture made a few years back - besides, up to now I don't really have any fixed manner of painting a picture, often I just 'go with the flow'
I do use Poser quite often though and up until today - usually it all begins with a sketch, where I'm roughly determining composition, light, colors, etc. Then, when I know what I want I open Poser and set a pose.
I don't do it precisely, nor I really meddle with Poser anatomy to individualize figures. Yet I usually start with following Poser figures very precisely while making a main sketch for my figures - but then I'm making necessary corrections and modifications, including changing position of body parts or anatomy if I feel that they are just not natural or not what I want. Poser figures have very artificial anatomy (and I can't set e.g. muscle tension or I can easily set a pose that is impossible in real world) so it can only be used as a reference for pose and some basic proportions. Their hands and feet are especially awful. Nevertheless, they are a considerable help.
After the main sketch is finished I usually don't need Poser anymore - I check it a few times if I'm unsure of details that (through applying layers of colors) have lost its shape, for example. But usually for those details I use a plethora of indirect references, usually photos - if I'm unsure how eyelid should look like, I open many different photos of eyes, if I'm unsure about feet - I search for feet and check how it's built or what position it can make.
From main sketch I am simply following a simple rule of "from entirety to detail", meaning that - even though the sketch should be defined quite well - details usually come last. It's important to not focus on one part of the drawing and forget about others.
And I suppose that's pretty much it
