I love all the little street café's and tea houses. I walked round the Hippodrome in the small hours totally alone and felt very safe. Moonlight, horse chestnut trees in bloom, singing coming from the tea houses. Just tell me why does anyone want to come to the UK? The only yobs (drunks) I saw were UK football supporters... Turkish people were courteous and pleasant, kind and very respectful. I suppose the carpet shops take a bit of getting used to. I am fine with them, just do not go in. I bought a carpet in a village years ago, near Bodrum... It is one of my prized possessions... I will never need another...

Yes this shot brings back memories... Very nice.

You did a good expression. I think people know more than UK. There are too many tourists in Istanbul. There are few people who know this difference.
