My Witchsona for 2015! A recluse living in the woods who collects dried flowers and skulls, tames/works with monsters, and frightens away lost travelers alongside said monsters.

Everything about this is charming!
When you mentioned a witchsona, my mind instantly went to the stereotypical black-clad witch ... so when I saw this my mind was blown. XD
There's so much COLOR and INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER here! She looks like a wilderness dwelling birdwitch. All the little baubles, beads, braids, flowers, and feathers just make it so appealing to me. I need that hat so badly! And Whidbey is composing himself like a proper, obedient familiar. I'm curious what they're up to here, because that's a rather conspiratorial look going on between them and that birdskull isn't there for nothing. Sneaky things! What I see, as I mentioned, is a lot of little details that are uniquely you, combined to make it very recognizable as Empyrisan but still a distinctly a different design.
As always, I'm blown away by the tiny details. Individual flower petals and multiple types (roses, a lily, and ..daisies?) , creative seams and laces, the bristle in the feathers, and even the faint patterning on the coat. The hairstyle also amuses and intrigues me. All in all, I don't really think this could have been better in any way!

Black is cool, but I look better in red! No fantasy clothing I design for Empy will go without a feather on it somewhere. And the duo are about ready to cause some mischief! Chase away poor, lost travelers while wearing birdskull masks and make a lot of scary noise!
Those are daisies among the flowers, so you are correct! The overall image miiiiight be a teeny bit better if I had remembered to draw a couple of doves hanging around on her hat! Need birb friends!

Oh gosh, thank you for mentioning the word "shillelagh!" I actually had no idea that those kinds of wooden staffs had a name! I'm a little embarrassed for not knowing that word up until now, haha!
