Things run through your mindThe name calling
Your insecurities
Or just the depression.
You can't stand it anymore.
So you decide to hurt yourself
Without the blood.
You ignore the meals in front of you
You ignore any kind of food you see.
Slowly you get used to it.
The burning inside your stomach
Saying that you need food.
But you ignore it.
You get used to skipping meals
Eating a bite
Just to last the day
Or the week
Or even the month.
Days pass by
Weeks
Months
You decide to look in the mirror
And you're shocked at what you see.
You can see your ribs
Bright as day.
Your collar bone.
Your bony wrist.
The anorexia is slowly eating you away
Even if you're not eating anything.
You don't know what to do anymore.
Whenever you get up it feels like you're about to faint.
You feel light headed.
You don't know what to do...
But you crave for one thing.
Not food.
But help.
Help to get you through this.
