Description Anyone even remember this game from where this character is from?

For a fancy fighting/dancing hybrid game, it sure was great one. Unluckily I only played the Demo version that came with the PSX itself (from 1998). And if you ask from me, even the stage song for this character rocked back then...and rocks even today.

Post Scriptum: anatomy-wise I had alot to worry not to make Heat look too femine. I avoided that, luckily, but the right arm got tad too wonky this time.

... Toonami. THat old CN action show block. It had some reviews for video games, like Mr. Mosquito and that game where your a space prince with a super sticky ball that is to recreate the stars...

You are now my best friend! It's rare that you see anyone who remembers that game! I got it in my PS2 right now, as a matter of fact! You should check out Heat's song and stage in Bust-A-Groove 2. Search for "The Heat Is On."

Checked them from YouTube.

Bust-A-Groove 2 never came to Europe and instead, was Japan and USA only game. As for the stage and music - the stage is actually quite nice, but the song is far more inferior to the first games song. Plus: I still prefer the "inside the heat ring" -looking stage in Bust-A-Groove 1.

I like the sequel better. The lyrics are more stylishly boastful and it flows better. I also like the armory theme the second stage has.

You know, there was a third game released only in Japan, Dance Summit 2001. It involves four person teams who can either fight for the spotlight or work as a team for combo moves. The gameplay is more Simon says-ish and it's presented more like a music video then a dance battle. There aren't any returning characters, but the different teams inherit moves from the previous games. It's the oddball of the series, but it's probably also the best.

I like the original better, even though I don't own the game in any other way except as demo.

And I was aware of that, but to me, it's more likely "ruiner" of Bust-A-Groove series. It doesn't even have the basic elements of the Bust-A-Groove 1 and 2 games elements, which is the characters and the fighting/dancing hybrid game.
