Good design on it, was annoying creature to fight but the Arch Vile was better, hope they don't use the Revenant as the cover for Doom 4

Loved fighting these guys in the old doom games, they'd punch you if you got too close, but you could make their missile hit other enemies if you positioned yourself right.
More importantly some serious art skills on display here!!!

Homing projectiles were always a fucking no-no in games where you have terrible FOV.

Badass Revenant! I always found their animations a bit silly in the game.
For some reason, I can't see these things the same after seeing an old video of Doom enemy mods. The Revenant was Captain Falcon throwing FALCON PUNCHES

That's pretty awesome. I used to make levels for doom, but my favorite mod was zdoom with the bot deathmatch and too many player skins that just didn't belong in doom. Like MK characters that could only look left and right, and kicked rockets at you.
