aw thanks!
this is quite an old piece, which reminds me i should get it back from the gallery i gave it to about 4 years ago, i never heard word from them or chased them up, so lazy and silly of me!
you get caught up in life sometimes i think, and forget you have different pieces different places

Oh yes, you definitely should contact them to get it back, it's such a nice piece! It is your art after all.

this is simply awesome. Very pretty face on the woman (and the angle/soft lips) and the details in the gloves. All ur work is so clean---so exact for oil paintings if I'm explaining it properly.

i think you're explaining it just fine.
The kind of 'cleaness' is not something i work at, i just kind of paint that way. I sometimes think it too clinical and try to break out with big loose strokes, but i always just end up with a big old mess! best just to stick with what i do, i think
thanks!!

I'm the same way---actually just alittle bit of a perfectionist. lol If I want paintings to be so perfect---why don't I just put them in painter or something? It would save me an aweful lot of work lol. My pen and ink work is the same. I'm very fussy. I'm sort of like Bren---I'm sure you comment on her page Truley-Unruly.

Wow...Holyshit.
I had to say that out loud when viewing this at full.
It's amazing to say the least how you manipulated the once 2d world to look so...real. Those gloves, I swear, I though you took real gloves and used them for the piece.
Fantastic work *0*
