We've had a heatwave here in England, so recently I went out for a walk to escape the heat and I was walking along, skipping songs on my mp3 player, when I looked up and saw that it was...snowing?...from a perfectly clear sky. Huge white balls of cottony seeds were drifting across the road and I just stopped and gaped. And at the exact moment I looked up, the shuffle on my mp3 player switched to this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmGasU… . It was a good day.

I found out later that the seeds are from poplar trees and they do it quite a lot, but I'd never seen it before so to me it looked like something from a Ghibli film.
