Jasper Lockhart (Nickname Jazz)

Age: 19

Appearance: Long, jet black hair, bangs on either side of the face, cowlick in the middle. Piercing deep blue eyes, pale wheat skin. (Akin to FF7 Zack). Usually wears goggles when working. Wears a grey jumpsuit when dealing parts/working on machines. Outwardly he dresses casually, not stuffy and Victorian fine when he can avoid it.

Other info: Attending Ridcully Polytechnic Theorem Academy (RPT) to obtain a degree in mechanics/building. In his third year out of 6 years, looking for a master’s degree.

Secret Occupation: To pay his tuition he’s a parts dealer/ member of an elaborate underground black-market organization network called SCOPE (Specialized Combat Operating Parts Enterprise) - manufacture of weapons/air crafts used in combat. Gathering parts/pieces to sell to the organization for a nice profit. Illegal dealing of weapons and chemicals/parts.

Lives: On campus in a dorm.

Works: Off campus in an underground workshop off of a steam subway. His workshop is like a bunk with a pawnshop area- glass window, storage boxes etc. It’s run by several members of SCOPE and other shady people who keep the supplies coming. Jazz’s job is to take in the parts other members gather/steal, and then sell them on the black market. SCOPE takes part of the profits and uses it for funds towards military weapons research and development, and sometimes Jazz even sells parts directly to them if they are valuable and rare.

whoever has the better tech is going to win in the end
so the scientists are almost like currency. and schools would be a target because it would be like cutting off an enemy's supplies by killing their scientists or kidnapping them, whatever
now, there's the regular army and then there's what my character is a part of, which is like a special group of gunslingers, basically. they're the swat team, i guess. i'm not sure exactly how to describe them
