"Long live the reckless and the braves "

Each time Alexa put her fine rear on Holly she missed Republic a little more, she was nothing like her big grullo mare; Opinionated, fussy, reckless but oh equally talented. It would have been a waste to keep her as a pasture ornament, and either way even if Al would not admit it, riding this diva of an Obertaurer was thrilling. Holly might not give her the same powerful feeling as her Donstrupper but sitting on such an agile rocket was just as interesting. Sure footed from her life in the wild did give a fair advantage despite the bond that was not quite perfected - she did question every single of her rider's demand just in case - but so far so good, the beginning of the course was not punctuated with bucks or rears, not even a joyful sheep jump which was a victory in itself. Yet, If Alexa would finish the course with a smile or by giving Holly unflattering names was still a surprise.

In the meantime they had the luck to ride in the last riders and bask in the 5pm golden lights.
