I'm not sure how exactly this piece relates to the song that's about madness, obsession, and coping with music, but the song DID inspire the artwork, so it seems approprite to mention it here in the description.

Thanks ! I also have a soft spot for music (love the violin and am trying to learn guitar now too)...and, well, I obviously like dragons too. I tried to add several musical allusions into this, but I think some of them are hard to tell what they are .
