I love the photo but I find the expression seems too lonely for a maternity pic, the photo itself is beautiful though

It was my thought that not everything about having a baby is all smiles and warm goo. I was trying to capture a moment of inner reflection. I appreciate your input, though!

I do maternity shots from time to time and the commercial side focuses completely on happiness, it's nice to see another take on a classic type of photo.

I do them commercially every now and then, too. It's draining to focus solely on happiness. In this case, she is family so I had a lot more creative freedom. And surely enough this turned out to be one of her favorites. Haha.
