Certainly artists throughout time have been drawn to the story and image of Ophelia... some of the Pre-Raphaelites even made a career of painting her many times... so welcome to the fold, as it were! ;

The marriage between Ophelia and Hamlet was likely araigned... but when Hamlet abandons his woman, not only is he forsaking his honor and duty, he is bringing chaos and dissolution to his entire nation!
