Possim grade scene from possim grade film. As for Jr, not bad but could use a bit of a back story imo

Me too. It is one of those one in a million animated moments. I would say: Land before time-finding the great valley, TLK1 Simbas roars, Balto- white wolf scene and this.

According to the creators of Riding Free, this Spirit is actually the son of Spirit and Rain.

Thanks ^^. I drew this before the show started and I knew nothing about it. I did not catch on with it- it was not my kind of show but i love the animated movie.

I think the only thing that surpasses it is the Heirtage of the Wolf- scene from Balto. I love the ending of the Lion King as well but I think these are the best two give-me-chills moments.

I have to say yes to the Lion king as well.
The ending is just so cool but sadly i never saw Balto
so i can't say much about it.

Too bad. I recommend it warmly. It is that old hand-drawn style, music by James Horner and a good story. If you like Lion King, Land before time, An American tale animation combined into an almost non-stop adventure but with good quiet sweet moments and beautiful character designs: it is so with an hour and 15 minutes of your time. Spielberg was involved and Simon Wells directed it.
It has an overall theme and a very good message without being preachy in any way. We also get Jim Cummings in his most evil role ever XD.
Not to talk about the Heritage of the Wolf scene. I dont want to spoil it if you have not seen it but I dare say it is the best animated scene ever put to screen. Both animation, feels and music and message.

The best Dinosaur games are on pc.
I remember when you told me of Balto i think Balto is the right name?
What i found out is that it is based of a real wolf or dog that
saved people from a sickness that they had.

Yeah he was an Alaskan Husky who lived in Nome. It was called the Great race of Mercy or The Serum Run. If you read up on that and the Balto statue in central park you can find a lot of info. It was a real even where people got diphtheria and ran out of anti-toxin so they had a relay from the town of Nenana with dog-sleds to get the medicine to Nome. Balto and his team came into Nome on February 2nd 1925 and the reason Balto is famous is cause they where the lat team on the relay and originally the reporter asked for the lead dogs name: Fox but that did not sound as noteworthy as Balto. The hardest and longest part was run by a dog named Togo and his team. Togo was 12 years so he was an old dog.
I think they made Balto in the movie resemble Togo more by making him part wolf (the real Balto was almost all black with some white markings) so the image of Togo is what you remember most. Just a theory- nothing confirmed.
If you like The Lion King, land before time (first one), Spirit-stallion of the cimarron and movies like that you´re gonna love this one. Like said- stunning animation- awesome music and the best moment in animated history (according to me ^^).

I bet amazon has it for sure. There are three movies: one Balto and two sequels Wolf Quest and Wings of Change. The sequels are no way near the original in style, tone or animation. Not bad movies but not what i would consider good-enough. TLK did a good sequel but these dont even fit the tone of the first movie.
The one you´re looking for it only named Balto. Directed by Simon Wells, Spielberg's name should be on the cover somewhere...they changed it like four times. Voices: Kevin Bacon, Bridget Fonda and Bob Hoskins and that will be the right one. It was made in 1995.

I am more of a movie-person. Games I do like though is Okami, Shadow of the colossus and Kingdom Hearts but I rarely play anything these dys. i tried out Hollow Knight but I don't have a controller for my PC so it is kind of hard to get anywhere.
About music I am very complicated there for most people. I like certain songs not a band or singer. Like I do not like all songs ever made by Disney but a few i can listen to forever. I do not like heavy metal but enjoy a great deal of metal songs (Megaraptor is an artist that kills it every time)
Also movie music is the thing that I listen to the most. Since you like horse movies: if you have not heard this score from the Black stallion : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6qwWe… best part starts at 1.14 .
Yeah i think Spirit is the ultimate horse-movie. It has some elements from all the boy/girl finds a horse and them be the only one who can ride the horse- but it focuses more on Spirits story than that. Also Hans Zimmer and Bryan Adams- music in this. It is my top favorite score next after the Balto score.

No way you have Okami my brother loves that game he has it on PS2.
There are two horse movies i saw that i don't have one is Black beauty and
the other is racing stripes.
The ones i have is Flicka, Flicka 2 friends forever and Flicka 3 best friends.
Those movies are very nice the thing that makes it so nice is all 3 of the movies
is about the same black wild horse named Flicka.

EmberWolfsArt In reply to Nativehorse100 [2019-03-05 12:43:05 +0000 UTC]
Well the style is very much like Don Bluths style- he is an animator who made the Dragons Lair -games, Land before time (1st one), An American tail, Secret of Nimh, Pebble and the penguin, Thumbelina and the list goes on.
He was not involved with Balto but the style and flow in the animation reminds a lot of his style and skill.
Balto has two sequels Wolf Quest and Wings of Change but they are nothing like the first one. I like Wolf Quest as a movie and it is a good story but it is not a Balto movie for me. Wings of Change....ehhh it has some good parts but i still dont know if i like it or not.

It happens.
Lets talk about art.
What kind of art are you in to i am more into animals,
dragons, sharks, and more.
But i need some help my mother is into art as well.
She has run out of ideas what type of art are people into
these days?

EmberWolfsArt In reply to Nativehorse100 [2019-03-06 09:38:43 +0000 UTC]
Same here. My style is kind of cartoony animals but I do portraits from time to time.
Art is very subjective so to say what people like from day to day is impossible. It is all up to the individual. Some like modern art, some like realism, sme like semi-realism. Some like abstract art and some like landscapes.
The most important thing is to draw and paint what you want to do- not what others like to see.
