Silas is three years old and Soren is about 6 weeks... I don't know exactly, since the original owner put him and his brothers inside a plastic bag and threw them into the rubbish container. A friend of mine rescued them and after a few weeks of bottle feeding them I adopted Soren
My dog has taken upon himself to protect the kitten.Edit: I enhanced the image

When I was maybe 5 I think, there was this stray kitten family and one kitty was always really dirty looking, and the neighbors dog would always go and clean it!

This photo is absolutely adorable.
The humans if you can call them that should be tossed into a rubbish container and made so they can't get out by themselves, see how that feels. Why does anyone think that is okay, if you have a cat get them fixed its not too expensive and if you're not willing to do that atleast take them to an animal shelter while it's closed.

The colution for cat overpopulation is too simply get them fixed; cat live longer then, and you do't have to worry about unwanted litters. It is also so easy to just take them to a shelter.
I know of someone who brought some newborn puppies to the animal shelter, but the idiot brought them at night, when it was closed, and they just left the puppies out there in the cold of winter! by morning when they shelter opened they were already dead

aww, thats adorable, and so good that your dog accepted him, and people who dispose of animals and treat them that way should be locked up, but even that's to good for them. (so to rant, i just feel strongly on the matter) glad hes happy and safe

My mom and I got a kitten years ago that some guy had found under his trailer, and my Boston Terrier adopted her. It's a beautiful thing to see when dogs and cats get along.
And I hope the jerk who did that to those poor kittens gets bad karma for doing that...there's no excuse for it.
