I feel like has infected me with something...

I mean, I already had a special place in my heart for RotG, but...goddamnit, Pitch is so freaking badass!

What am I saying? EVERYONE is badass in that movie! They have a Jude Law villain, a Russian Santa swordsman, a warrior rabbit, a mute opposite of the Jude Law villain with just as much kickassery, a female...that does stuff outside of being female (Actually, I could never figure out how she attacks. Does she just slap all the Nightmares away or...?), and an ice wizard. Not some cutesy "ooh, I'm just gonna blow some snow over here, la dee da~" person. An ice wizard.

And then this got me thinking of some old cartoons I used to watch (back when I still cared about television) to try and find something that could possibly match the awesomeness, and Danny Phantom popped up. Why? Because it's about a teenage boy with unusual abilities...some of which are associated with ice.

Yes, for those who don't know, Danny met an ice ghost sometime during the final season who helped him tap into hidden powers. I haven't seen that show in years, but I still remember that detail quite distinctly.

And then I also thought about Pitch Black's bitter relationship with Jack Frost...and said relationship is very similar to that of Danny Phantom and Vlad Plasmius. Similar backgrounds, similar rivalry, similar loneliness, similar beckoning to the dark side or whatever. It's all there, but in a different universe.

So I tried to draw Jack and Pitch in Butch Hartman's style...and I threw in a couple Nightmares for the hell of it.

Now that this is off my mind, I can go back and finish all my lab reports...hopefully...

Did anyone else notice that Pitch doesn't have eyebrows? I didn't even realize that...so creepy...
