Full Moon shot with 7D and a 300mm lens, 1/500 5.6 100This is probably the best moon photo I have taken so far. Was very happy with how it tuned out.

Really good shot, I think that it's really cool how when I get a pic of the moon it's upside down compared to yours, LOL. With being in different parts of the world really shows when you show celestial shots.

Hey there mate! Was this taken in Australia? I believe that this is how the moon looks like in the Southern Hemisphere: I never seen it upside-down, though. By the way, did you use Light-filters for this?

I just read the article at Digital Photography School forum ([link] ) about shooting the moon and it is truly very difficult to capture FULL moon ! You've managed to make very good photo ! Did you try BW variation of this shot ?
This one looks too blue, so looking at preview, I thought this is image of Earth from the space
